Umpire Applicant Requirements
1. 15 years or older on or before June 1st of the current year.
2. Applicants must report any criminal offenses, other than minor traffic violations prior to employment. The Mexico Optimist Club reserves the right to review all applicants’ backgrounds. Upon request, applicants must provide any information needed to run such checks.
3. Applicants must provide any and all information required for tax and payroll purposes.
4. Umpires will be required to attend a clinic prior to the start of the season.
